I hope that one would say I was kind all the time. I know I have my moments of unkindness. I also hope those times are few and far between. It takes only but a second to be kind to someone. From the outside, we NEVER know what a person is going through. I’ve often times “paid it forward” by buying the person behind me their Starbucks drink. One Christmas Eve, my husband and I were having coffee in a local shop when two police officers came in. I bought them their drinks. I love talking to people and anytime I can strike up a conversation with someone I will. When I’m gone from this earth, I want people to think of me as someone who was kind. I think sometimes just a smile can be a random act of kindness.
