I feel like I’m in the profession that I admire the most. I’m a history teacher. I’ve also taught English. I don’t think there’s just one admirable profession. I admire doctors and how they can save a life. I can’t do that. I admire writers. I wish I was one. Writing on this blog satisfies me just enough. I can say yes, I’ve been published. I hit that publish button every night. That’s got to count, right? I admire artists and musicians. I admire anything creative, helpful and professions that make a difference.
