I’m so excited to say that I’ll be attending Foodie Con-Los Angeles this December. Described as the “Comic Con” for food lovers, foodies will enjoy food and drink from over 150 vendors, local chefs, breweries, wineries, distilleries, and food trucks, while listening to the sounds of local DJs.
The inaugural event begins on Saturday, December 3, 2016 and runs until Sunday, December 4, 2016. It takes place at Magic Box @ The Reef –1933 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90007 and ticket prices range from $15-50.
Not only will foodies get to sample delicious food and drink, they will also be helping a great cause. Foodie Con-Los Angeles has partnered with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and proceeds from tickets sales will go to help the food bank with food donations.
Attendees will have to opportunity to learn fresh culinary skills from local chefs during hands-on cooking classes, buy from retail booths and watch product demonstrations. I for one can’t wait to start my birthday month with delicious food and fun. If you love food and helping out a great cause, this is the place to be.

I went to the BlogWorld Expo in 2011 when I worked in PR for Kingston Technology I haven't been to a blogging conference since. It's hard because I teach and really don't have the time anymore. I'm just lucky I get to blog.

This is the best function room in the city. The food they served at venues in Houston was warm, fresh and tasty, and the panoramic window is a sight to behold on a clear day. Their main hall was similar to a club/lounge – however, it had more of an intimate feel.
